Maritime Transport is one of the United Kingdom's largest providers of intermodal container logistics and distribution services, operating an extensive trailer fleet across container, curtainsider, walking floor and box trailer configurations. Sustained customer demand frequently exceeds in-house tractor unit availability, generating a continuous requirement for sub-hire traction capacity.

The brief was to provide consistent, fully-compliant tractor unit and driver capacity to operate Maritime trailers on contracted client lanes, without any compromise to the operating standards required by Maritime's customer base.

Loaden Haulage supplies Euro 6 compliant tractor units operated by directly-employed, DCPC-current drivers, available on day-rate, weekly and contract bases. Vehicles are presented in good condition with appropriate trailer-specific fittings, and drivers are inducted to Maritime operational and safety procedures prior to first use of customer trailers.

Operational coordination is conducted directly with Maritime's traffic planning function, with daily allocations against confirmed lanes and tracking visibility provided throughout each movement. Tachograph, drivers' hours and walk-around defect compliance are administered centrally by Loaden Haulage as the supplying operator.
