Loaden Haulage operates 13.6-metre curtainsider trailers on contracted trunking work between regional distribution centres, supporting the inter-DC movement of palletised retail stock. Vehicle specifications meet retailer safety and presentation standards, and EN 12642 XL certified bodywork is deployed where load configuration requires enhanced restraint.
Operating slots are managed against the client's transport planning function, with confirmation calls and live tracking maintaining transparency through to delivery completion at the receiving site.
Store delivery
Store-delivery work and multi-drop distribution
For store-delivery work, multi-drop sequencing is planned in advance against confirmed store opening times and goods-in slots. Drivers are trained on retailer-specific store-delivery protocols, including personal protective equipment requirements, vehicle access constraints and load-presentation expectations at the receiving site.
The curtainsider configuration enables rapid offload at sites with side-access loading bays, supporting tight unloading windows characteristic of urban and suburban store estates.
Traction support

For retail logistics businesses operating their own trailer fleet, Loaden Haulage provides traction-only capacity in the form of Euro 6 compliant tractor units and DCPC-current drivers. Service is available on day-rate, weekly and contracted bases, supporting peak retail trading periods, planned vehicle maintenance and capacity expansion onto new lanes.
Tachograph, drivers' hours and walk-around defect compliance are administered centrally by Loaden Haulage as the supplying operator, ensuring that operator-licence responsibility remains outside the client organisation.
